Jaime Burke

Jaime Burke is a flutist based in San Diego, California. She holds both her bachelors and masters degree in flute performance from San Diego State University, where she studied with Pamela Martchev. Jaime is an active teacher and freelancer in the community, playing regularly with numerous ensembles, some being the San Diego City Ballet Orchestra, Opera NEO Orchestra, and numerous chamber groups. She supports a successful studio of flute students of all ages, and enjoys coaching flute along with other woodwinds at a multitude of schools in San Diego County. Jaime has won numerous awards with the San Diego Flute Guild, and most recently won San Diego State University’s Soloist Competition where she went on to be a featured soloist with the SDSU Symphony Orchestra.
